Let The Journey Begin

I am at a point in my life where I am taking a different path than I thought I would be taking. I am no longer in school and will not be going back to school. I have however found myself a good job online. I will get to stay home with my daughter still and work. Just when I felt like God had forgotten me he shows up and reminds me that he is always with me.

In the bible in Matthew Jesus talks about the wide gate leading to destruction and the narrow gate is the way to life. I am choosing the narrow gate and know my journey to meet my goals will not be an easy one but with God by my side I will make it.

Max Lucado has a new book out called Let The Journey Begin. I was chosen by Family Christian to get to review it. I think it is awesome that this book came a time like this in my life. It came right when it was needed. Let The Journey Begin is filled with scripture and guidance to help on my new journey and keep me on track with my goals. The book actually even has a section at the end to keep track of goals. Max Lucado shares true stories and quotes to inspire and bring me closer to God. I really am happy that I got the chance to read this book because it has been so helpful for me in my life transition. You can learn more about the book by visiting Let The Journey Begin.

I will be updating in a few weeks with how my new life's journey is going. Where is your journey leading you?

  1. God is so good. I feel that when God closes one door he always opens another. So happy for you that you will be at home with your little girl. Its tough to go to school and leave your child. I know from experience. May God bless you in all that you do. :)

  2. I'm with Homegrown on that. When one door closes God does open another for us. Sometimes we think that we know better than he does but everything does happen for a reason. I'm so happy for you with your new job. I know that you want to spend as much time as you can with Christine and I just know that she would be happy having you home with her. My journey right now is leading me to photography and I'll be taking classes at our community college this fall. Wish me luck.
