I am a huge tea drinker and love to try new ones whenever I can. I was so happy to be sent tea from Majani Teas. The company was founded in 2012 by the son of a Kenyan tea farmer. Their mission is to source fine, naturally grown, organic, fair trade Kenyan teas to benefit small scale tea farmers and consumers. They have teas in all different varieties like: black teas, green teas, white teas, and oolong teas. I was sent a wide variety to try out.

I was sent 6 different varieties to try out and all of them were unique. Tamu organic oolong tea was very tasty and was great as an afternoon tea. It was not too strong but not too weak. Faraja organic green tea was one of my favorites. It was mild and so yummy. I just add sweetener or honey to all of my teas.

Thabiti organic black tea was smooth and good too but not one of my favorites. I did like it but favored others over it is all. It was tasty though. Breakfast organic tea was my all-time favorite. I drank it in the morning instead of coffee. It was smooth, not too strong and tasted great even without sweetener.

The last two teas I tried were Imara organic black tea and Fariji organic green tea. I really loved the green tea but the black one was just ok. They were both yummy and smooth but again I prefer green over the black.

This was my first time trying tea that came like this:

You can see the real tea in the bag. To make the tea just boil water and put the bad in for about 5 minutes. I leave my bags in because I like the full flavor it gives it. These teas were awesome and it was a different experience that I really enjoyed. Please feel free to use the links below to connect with the company and learn more about these organic Kenyan teas.
