I was so excited when I got contacted by TGI Friday's snacks to do a review. I was already a huge fan of the company in general, especially their potato skins. I was sent some coupons to get some products to try out. I went and picked up their potato skins (of course) and something I had not tried. I decided on onion rings.

I had never tried these and did not even know they made them. I was more than happy to grab and try them though. I am an onion ring lover! These are not like your typical onions rings. They are flavored like onion rings but really they are crispy chips. They are very yummy and one bag was not enough in my house. My husband and daughter stole them but thankfully I got to try a bowl of them.

The other product I tried were the cheddar and bacon potato skins. They really do have a cheddar bacon taste to them. They are my favorite and are so good. They were gone too fast for me to even get a pic. I did only get a single serve bag though. Their potato skins come in more than on flavor. They come in: cheddar and bacon, cheddar and sour cream, chili cheese, jalapeno cheddar, and sour cream and onion. If I can find any of those near me I will definitely be trying them.

TGI Friday's Snacks does make other products as well. They also make mozzarella sticks and crunchy cheddar fries. I have not seen those in my area but keep your eye out. They sounds good too. TGI Friday's Snacks would be great party snacks as well as movie snacks. We just ate them as a night snack. Great products made by a great company. If you would like to learn more about them please visit TGI Friday's Snacks.

I have been a fan of Precious Moments since I was a kid. I am so glad that it is still around to share with my daughter. We love to read at bedtime and have several different books we cycle through. I think reading before bed helps to wind down Christine and myself. It is even better when you are ending the day with a bible verse and prayer.

This little book has a rhyming poem or prayer and bible verse to end the day with. It is not written to go in any particular order. I let Christine pick out a page to read and we start from there. We might get a couple pages read before she is ready to pass out.

The book is illustrated with Precious Moments characters which makes it so cute. It is an easy read and recommended for kids ages 1 to 4. You can learn more about it or purchase it here: Thomas Nelson. You can also get a peek at what's inside here: Little Book of Bedtime Flip Book

God and Me 365 Devotionals Book Review/Giveaway

I really enjoy getting to review all of these Christian children books and hope my readers like the giveaways.

This book is a 365 day devotional. In my opinion you can never have enough devotional books. I myself read at least three a day. Christine loves this book. I think she likes it so much because of the pictures in it. They are not illustrations but instead real pictures of kids. At her age she enjoys that a lot.

The book goes by date starting of course with January first. It is hard to get a two year old to sit down and read so devotionals work great in our house. Reading one page from a few devotionals is just enough for her.

I like this book because of the lessons each day. They range from making and keeping promises to bath time bubble fun (cute picture on that one). They are fun little lessons based on what the bible teaches. It also has little prayers to say with your child.

This book is recommended for children ages 4 to 7. You can read more about it or purchase it here: Thomas Nelson You are able to view some of the book here: God and Me Flip Book

So I thought I would write a post and explain what is happening with my blog. I lost my domain name and was hoping I could renew it. As soon as I went to renew it some adult company had takken it. I am so sad about this because I have had to change my domain and now any of my old posts go to an adult site. I am happy that I got my blog name now as my domain though.

It has been a long week of trying to get homework done and trying to get my domain name changed everywhere. I am a part of a lot of blog places so I have to remember where to change it. I think I have gotten most of them now and can move on. I will have more giveaways up this next week so be on the look out.

I like to try out different body washes and was excited t get to try Vitamin Boost from Dial. I got the Kiwi scented one. I have tried other Dial Body Wash in the past but never tried the Vitamin Boost. This one is lotion infused and moisturizes. I have dry skin in the winter so I definitely need a body wash like that.

Like most body washes this one lathers up really well and smells great. It does actually leave your skin feeling soft and not dried out. It is a thicker body wash and I loved that.  I think the thicker ones are easier to use and do moisturize better. I have tried watery body wash and threw them away. This body wash is green in color and I thought that was unique. I have not tried many colored washes. It also has vitamin B in it.

I really love this wash and will continue to use it through the winter. It is a great wash to keep your skin healthy and soft. You can enter below to win two coupons. One will be for mens wash the other for regular body wash. Good luck!

I absolutely love Purex Crystals! If you use fabric softeners of any kind then you will need to try these. I was sent a bottle of Fresh Mountain Breeze scent to try out and now have a closet full of great smelling clothes.
Purex Crystals come in four different scents: Fresh Mountain Breeze, Tropical Splash, Lavender Blossom, and Fresh Spring Water. They are very easy to use. You just put the desired amount in the cap of the bottle and add to the wash with your detergent. I love not having to wait for a certain cycle to put it in. I always forget and end up with not so fresh clothes.

First of all I have to say happy Valentines Day! I could have gotten this post up sooner but thought it would be fun to put it up today. This book is great for a day like today. I know love is in the air in my home.

I was very excited when I found out I had the chance to read and review The Marriage You've Always Wanted. The author Dr. Gary Chapman is the author of The 5 Love Languages. I have heard great things about that book but have not gotten to read it yet. It is next on my list.
In The Marriage You've Always Wanted Dr. Gary Chapman gives you expert advice and common sense methods to make your marriage stronger. He talks about how to become one with your partner. This is the key to a happy and healthy relationship.

Dr. Gary Chapman helps with questions like:
"Why won't my partner change?"
"How can we stop arguing about money?"
"How do I get him to listen to me?"
"What if I'm the only one working at the marriage?"
I loved that these questions were touched on. I know I ask a few of them daily.

The book even has "your turn" sections. These sections are exercises to do by yourself or with your partner. They make you think and help you grow. I enjoyed these a lot. I really liked that they brought in bible verses and kept God in it.

I truly love this book and will go back to it as a resource. If you would like to learn more about the author or the book please visit: 5 Love Languages. You can also enter to win a copy below. Good luck!

Getting Your Child
Ready For  Kindergarten

I was so excited when I got chosen to review an Educents Getting Ready For Kindergarten pack. Christine is at the age where she can start learning a lot of stuff. She is still too young for some of it though.

Educents is a website that offers curriculum for homeschooling or classrooms. They also offer daily deals on products.

The packet is a 50 page pack full of material to help encourage your child's learning. The first section talks about the skills your child will need to enter school. These include fine motor, social, and academic skills. It even gives you ways to teach your child these skills.

It then goes into number recognition and has flash cards and activities to use with your child. Then it is letter reconition, first sound fluency, and shape recognition. Each area has flash cards and plenty of activities to engage your child in learning. I do not have pics because most of this is too advanced for Christine.

If you are interested in this packet it can be found on Educents. I am reviewing only one of the 19 products in the pack.

This is Max Lucado's first devotional for tweens/preteens. It is aimed at kids 13 to 17 years old. It is written in a daily fashion using January 1 and so on. It is meant to be read on a daily basis. The neat thing about this book is at the bottom of each day is a little one more thought area. This area give a life lesson or just expands on the days reading. The beginning of each day is a bible verse to go with the reading. This is a great tool for your child to learn more about the bible and to get them reading it.

God's Little Princess Bedtime Devotional is a great book to read to your princess every night. It does not go in any particular order. It does have an index of subjects like anger, friendship, and bullying. It will take you to the devotional that fits those topics.

Each devotional has a bible verse at the beginning just like many other devotional books. Then it has the devotional which explains the verse in more detail. The cutest part of this devotional book is the good-night giggles and grace sections. Each devotional has on of these after it. They are a prayer and a little activity for the child to do. So cute and a great way to make it fun. The book is recommended for children 5 to 7 years old but really can be read to any child.
