Crunchy Condiment Test (Greenbean Casserole)

I am lucky enough to get to participate in the crunchy condiment test. I was sent three brands of crunchy onions to test out. I tested French's, Fresh gourmet, and Onion Crunch.
With tomorrow being Thanksgiving my mom and I made green bean casserole with a mixture of all three. We put them in sections so we could effectively test them.

Our recipe called for the onions, we used two cans of green beans, and a can of cream of mushroom soup.
This was our end result and it was tasty.

I tested each product on taste, healthiest, and crunchiest. I think the tastiest is Onion Crunch, healthiest is Onion Crunch, and the crunchiest was French's. I liked all of the crunchy onions but all in all my favorite was Onion Crunch. I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Jesus Calling 365 Devotions For Kids is the kid version of Sarah Young's adult book Jesus Calling. The book is a devotion for every day of the year. It is written for kids to understand and relate with. At the end of each day there is a bible verse for them to read as well. It gets children more involved in studying the bible and learning it. The book has a nice leather cover that is very durable. Each page has a nice red background and is written in blue print.

This is a great book that should be in every home. Families that read daily would love this to incorporate reading the bible with their children. You can purchase and read more about the book at Jesus Calling on Tommy Nelson Kids. You can also enter to win a copy below. Good luck!

Itsy Bitsy Christmas is a children's book written by Max Lucado. The story is about two little mice. It is set during the time of Jesus' birth. The mice have never seen the town so busy before. They have no idea what is going on. The other animals around them teach them about Jesus and how he is king. The animals in town teach them that "You are never too little for his love!"

This was a cute little book and I was happy to see the author was Max Lucado. He is a great writer and has written adult books as well. I had no idea he had children's books out until I got the option to review this one. This little book would make a great gift for any kid. It has bright pictures and is fun to read. You can learn more about the book at Itsy Bitsy Christmas Online. You can purchase it there as well or enter below to enter a copy. Good Luck!

King's Faith Movie Review/ Giveaway

King's Faith is a powerful movie. A teen boy named Brendan King has been in and out of foster homes (18 to be exact) his whole life. He has been arrested nine times and has a criminal record. When his life spirals out of control and he hits rock bottom he finds Christ. He ends up in a juvenile penitentiary where he learns more about Christ. When he is released from jail he is put into another foster home with a grieving couple. Brendan enrolls in the local school and finds the support that he needs with some fellow believers. His old life calls him back and he must decide if he will chose faith or his old ways.
This movie was great! My husband and I watched it and we both we able to relate to Brendan in may ways. We all get stuck having to chose between bad and good and that is what happens in the movie. The choices you make are what mold you.
You can watch a movie trailer below:

Christmas is coming and what better way to teach your child about it then a great book. The Story Of Christmas is a little board book. It is very durable and has held up through Christine's beatings pretty well. I like when  a book can take a beating because Christine is rough with them and it is hard to get her to be nice to books.
This little book uses vivid pictures and goes through the story of Jesus' birth to how he saved the Earth. It is written to keep the child entertained yet teach at the same time. This little book would make a great gift.

You can purchase the book here Story of Christmas or you can enter the giveaway below to win your own copy. Good Luck!

The true story of... A woman who laughs at funerals. A gypsy mother who refuses to wear a bra and a father who refuses to leave his first wife. A brother who sleeps under the coffee table and a sister who was kidnapped. A cheating minister, a missing uncle and a feisty, red-headed grandmother who was longing to leave it all.

Buffi always knew her family was unusual, but she was lucky enough to escape that gene. Or was she? Joined by her siblings at the bedside of their dying grandmother, Buffi begins on a journey of self discovery as they recall stories of their youth including juicy family secrets, inappropriate practical jokes, abuse and betrayal. She is on a quest to find Normal but finds herself instead.

It Must be Genetic is about an American family of no particular importance, descendants of the once wealthy and revered Perry clan, but stripped of their family wealth during the Great Depression. It’s full of quirky characters like grandmother Mopsie; a sexy divorced mother of two in the 1950’s who would turn the heads of her conservative neighbors when hosting the best poker parties in town, but who can now be found sleeping her days away in the bed of a nursing home. The story climaxes when Mopsie accidentally reveals a secret that sends her family frantically searching through old documents to find the son she gave up for adoption half a century ago.
It Must be Genetic is about acceptance, forgiveness and the great capacity to love. The story is written from the perspective of a third generation divorced mother, Buffi, who realizes that the very traits that make her family dysfunctional may be the same traits that make it so wonderful. At 64,000 words, it's paced for a quick-and-easy read.

I am so lucky that I got to try Seattle's Best frozen coffee. I am a coffee lover especially frozen blended coffee. As you can see above I chose very vanilla, creamy caramel, and coffee chiller. My favorite was the very vanilla because I love vanilla everything.

The frozen coffee blends are made in the blender. I like mine with some ice and thick. You can see how good they look when done though. I wish I could share the taste too. They are amazing! They are all smooth and full of flavor. If you need an easy frozen coffee you need these. You are supposed to divide one package into two ups but I do not like to share when it comes to my coffee. You can find these at your local supermarket.

If you would like to learn more please visit Seattle's Best Online. You can enter below to win a set of two coupons for free frozen coffee. Good luck!

I was contacted and given the opportunity to try Old Orchard frozen juices. My family loves juice but we really love this brand because there is no added sugar and it is all natural. I tried three different flavors. I tried apple cherry, berry blend, and cranberry raspberry. I loved all of them and had never tried any of the flavors before.

The cans are 12 oz and are very easy to open. They now have a pull tab and it is not messy when opened. I remember opening frozen juices and getting them all over. All you have to do to make them is put them in a pitcher and mix in the desired amount of water.

Old Orchard has a variety of flavors and even has frozen mixers and their newest is iced coffee. I have not tried it but I can't wait to! You can find their juice in the frozen juice aisle. It is affordable and I really love that part.

If you would like to try the juices you can purchase them at your local supermarket. If you want to learn more or see other flavors please visit Old Orchard online. If you would like to win a set of two coupons for free juice you can enter below. good luck!!
